Spam is the sending of unsolicited emails to people unknown to the sender (or on a mailing list) and often those people are directed to a particular website. Spam can be considered 'junk mail' in an electronic form. In many cases, the hosting provider of these sites is unaware that spam is being sent. If they receive complaints it can jeopardise not only the sender but also the hosting provider's ability to operate.
Therefore swiftpages.com will NOT allow spam mail or any association with it. swiftpages.com will not put the business operations of all of its customers in doubt because someone uses their own swiftpages.com website for a referral for spam emails.
If there is any complaint about spam associated with a website on our host server, we will suspend that website. If, after investigation, we find that there has been a breach of our spam policy, swiftpages.com will delete the offending website from our host server. The offender will NOT be eligible for a refund or compensation in any form.
If you have a complaint about being spammed by someone who has a website with swiftpages.com please contact us immediately!
We love internet commerce, and we hope our service will make it easier for everybody, but we will absolutely, positively not tolerate spam.
You may never spam via our service or send spam that in any way implicates our services. This includes mentioning a swiftpages.com email address or URL in a bulk message or including these addresses on a bulk-advertised web page. You may not hide behind throwaway web pages or fax-response front ends.
If you spam, even if swiftpages.com services are not directly involved in it (i.e. the spam leads the person to swiftpages.com services), you will:
- have your account terminated immediately without refund and notice
- charged a $1000 cleanup fee
- be reported to your own provider by us as a spammer, where they will presumably terminate your account as well.
- be reported to authorities
If you have been spammed, please notify us immediately.
