March 14th saw us run our 2009 Club Championships. Despite an unfortuately windy afternoon, I hope a great day was had by all. We were lucky enough to obtain some great sponsors this year. This meant that the champion at each level received an embroidered woollen rug as well as their Champion sashes. We need to thank the following people for their generous donations. - All Phones at Parabanks for sponsoring the Open Preparatory and Novice classes

- Sanders Grain and Fodder for sponsoring both the Junior classes
- Kersbrook Equestrian Centre for providing the Future Champions Award. This award was presented to the combination that placed 6th in the Open Preparatory and Open Preliminary classes. The lucky winners received a voucher for a free lesson with Nicki Stuart at the Kersbrook Equestrian Centre. The Preparatory winner was Kirsty Rehn and the Preliminary winner was Renee Jenke.
