Welcome to the Mt Crawford Dressage Club web site. The club grounds and facilities are located at the Murray Dawson Memorial Polo Grounds, Cowell Road, Mount Crawford. Mt Crawford Dressage Club offers competitions on the 4th Saturday of each month, both official and associate tests. Tests are available from walk/trot through to advanced. We have decided to hold a charity day each year supporting a different organisation each time. So, ready to go PINK. For our September rally we are going to hold a fundraiser for the National Breastcancer Foundation (NBCF Fundraiser ID No - 140107922). Since their colour is pink we would like riders, helpers, spectators and horses to go pink for the day by wearing as much pink as possible. We will have donation tins and National Breastcancer Foundation merchandise available on the day, so please save up your coins now and have them ready to donate in September. To keep in the theme of pink and donating, pink ribbons are being ordered for all placings and 50% of the profit from the day will be donated to the Foundation. This should be a great fun day with the added benefit of knowing you are helping to support a great organisation. We hope to see LOTS of you there with as many pink ribbons, bows, clothes and saddle clothes as possible and maybe even the odd pink spraypainted rump. -
We are also offering something new for any juniors, a led Prep 1 test. This is a great opportunity for any young riders wanting to try dressage, but who may not yet have the confidence to ride solo in the huge arena. The rider may be led, on a loose lead preferably, but not coached in any way by the leader. So, if you know someone that is fit enough to run and lead a young rider through the test and think this is just what your child/grandchild/friend or neighbour needs to introduce them to dressage please send in an entry form. Please indicate on the entry form that they are entering the led class as this will be judged, and places awarded, seperately to the Prep 1 class. Normal insurance cover is required for the rider (EA membership, MCDC membership - family, individual or day). Go to the calendar page to get the test details for the September rally. -
