Car Seat Design A back rest designed to be used in cars, was seized upon by Danish occupational therapists and used for patients in normal chairs and wheelchairs with excellent results. Coorabel, (a rehabilitation hospital) obtained one of these as a prototype and it was in such demand by patients that the husband of one patient experimented with their manufacture. Now after several trial models he is producing one that is as good (if not better) than the Danish model.
