Most students are not taught how to pass exams. Even more strange is the obvious fact that over the last decade or more, there has been a huge de-emphasis on examinations at lower levels of education. While that might be appropriate in some circumstances, it does not help the student who wants to pass exams at higher levels. Dale had to acknowledge that his initial results when sitting for exams were not outstanding. Dale was not a brilliant student. However he was smart. He therefore realised over time that firstly he should be doing better. He also realised he could do better if he found a way to study more effectively and also how to "play the game" when he sat for his exams. Although Dale did not succeed well at exams in secondary school, when luck and good fortune introduced him to some one who showed him the basics, he grasped the chance to learn. Over several years, he refined his exam technique so that it worked very well. Over many years, he continually used his technique to gain excellent grades when he sat for exams at university. Many years after, he taught his children the same techniques and they all progressed to higher levels of education and gained university degrees. Ironically, two ended up as teachers. The book, How to Pass Exams Easily, will help you pass your exams more easily. Alternatively, you might know people (children or grand-children, friends or relations) who have to pass exams. If anyone needs help in order to do better then this book will be of enormous benefit to you or them. Dale has also outlined many other valuable lessons of life. There is more to being successful than just passing exams and he has given many examples of how to cope with different problems that will upset you. Furthermore, Dale has given you some tips on how to be much better than you are, and how to develop your full potential. |
