Some of these photos depict the West African countries of Senegal, The Gambia and Namibia. My time in West Africa included three visits to The Gambia where I helped established a nursery school for 115 students aged from 2 to 7 years. Go to www.globalhandscharity.com for the full story. Other photos are from my time in East Africa in 2005. I travelled from Kenya and Tanzania to Zambia and eventually to Namibia. The highlights were a safari throughout Kenya and relaxing period on the island of Zanzibar. My trip followed a similar route to one I had done in the 1970’s when I first went to Africa. That time I went from Ethiopia to Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi and then into Rhodesia and South Africa experiencing the horrors of apartheid.
