SUPER CHEVY SUNDAY #15 Chevrolet's of all shapes and sizes were on show on the 3rd February 2008 at the 15th annual Super Chevy Sunday held by the Chevrolet Performance Association of South Australia (CPA) and proudly sponsored by Smithfield Crash Repairs. The week end started with a Rock n Roll cruise arranged by Grant Zipple with 369 American Muscle cars participating in the evening cruise and afterwards the people sat back and enjoyed music by Buddy and the Hollies. This is also a great lead in to the show n shine for Chevrolet bodied and powered cars on the Sunday. This year the event was held at the Campbelltown Oval and there was 136 entrants featuring displays of vintage, veteran, classic, historic, commercial with models ranging from Capital, Superior and National in the vintage years to Belairs, Biscayne's, Impalas, Corvettes, Camaro's and commercials vehicles. Entrants came from as far as Victoria and NSW for the event and CPA thanks them for their continued support. This year the community also supported the event with over 2,000 people spectators flowing through the gates. The entrants vote for the cars they like the most in each category with the car of the show being the car with the most votes overall. The overall winner this year was: 1st Steve Carnell 75 Camaro 2nd Daryl Mesecke 59 Belair 2dr Sedan 3rd Terry Platt 57 Roadster
