Q: Is a risk assessment carried out prior to work starting? A: Risk assessments must be completed prior to commencing work on site, with appropriate measures in place. Q: Is air monitoring included in the quoted price? A: Yes, air monitoring is mandatory to all work performed to comply with Safe Work SA OH&S Safety Standards. Air monitoring is carried out by an independent air monitoring environmental consulting company. Q: What sort of protection do the workmen wear? A: All personnel on site wear disposable protection coveralls and P2 half mask respirators. Q: In what condition is the site or room that the asbestos is being removed from left? A: All areas are vacuumed with a Nilfisk (Hepa Filter) vacuum cleaner. Q: Where is the asbestos material dumped? A: The asbestos material is only dumped in a licensed asbestos dump.
